Safety
It is essential to know what is being used for training. The minimum static load capacity of these silks is 1,200 kg. Taking into account a safety factor of 10:1 for acrobatic exercises, the dynamic load capacity is 120 kg. Consequently, two adults can safely train on the hammock at the same time.
These silks feature low longitudinal stretch—which decreases further over time—and increased flexibility across the width. The material is produced in Poland, made of 100% polyester, and measures 150–160 cm (±5 cm) in width. After extensive testing, this fabric was recognized as highly durable, pleasant to the touch, non-abrasive on the skin, and offering the ideal thickness and elasticity.
They are tested according to the PN-EN ISO 13934-1:2013-07 standard and additionally under real operating conditions.
Storage and Care
- Always check the fabric for holes or tears before training.
- Store in dry conditions at room temperature.
- Avoid sharp objects that could damage the fabric.
- Remove any accessories before washing. Machine wash at 40 °C with a low spin cycle and avoid using fabric softener.
- When used properly, the silks can last for up to 5 years.
